I have a 2003 Town and Country with 300k miles as I drive 1000 miles a week.
The a/c was competent throughout the summer but nothing great and it is now having a problem
It will only blow cold air for awhile (5 minutes) and then the compressor stops. I can turn it off for 20 or so minutes and then it begins the cycle again.
The freon level is correct.
Could this be something simple or am I looking at a new compressor?

I apologize that I cannot respond quickly as I am not home but twice a day.

would need to do some checking out of the system first how do you know the freon level is good how did you measure it?
