Default A/C w/rear air blowing white smoke in front

hi all, A/C issue, 2004 t/c lxi 3.8 w/rear air, white smoke (occasionally) blows from front vents, mechanic says cant find leak i tried to refill gauge says warning but when i squeeze trigger it says low but doesnt want to accept any 134a coolant. what should we do?

Same car, only 2003. Same issue started today. Didn't try anything yet. Thought I might find an answer on here.

Default condensation?

I had the same thing this summer when I switched from recirculate to outside air. I thought it was condensation since it was quite humid. No loss in cooling effectiveness.

Think this is condensation guys, i get it from time to time and it hasn't bothered me

Are you in a very humid area. I've seen this often in tropical climates. As the others have said, it's probably condensation. If it is smoke, it will smell.

i agree, its just a bit of water steam, it will burn off quite quickly. does it come out faster from the left side vent when u turn hard right and vice versa?
