Chrysler grand voyager or renault espace.
Hi;
I am living in Belgium and I would like to buy a used 7 seaters car. Grand voyager or renault espace seams to be good.
I have found one Grand voyager year 2004, 2.5 crd se, about 100.000 km from first owner, they have changed timing belt.
I need to ask for voyager owner;
That years Voyager has any known problems?
What I have to check attend before I buy. ?
Which one do you recommended renault or Chrysler.?
Thank you.

Hi I am no expert, but I have had 1 Renault Grand Espace and 4 Chrysler Grand Voyager's and the Chrysler wins hands down every time, the Chrysler is better built, got a lot more room and does not breakdown as much as Renaults do.
I hope this helps

Thanks alot for replay. I have espace III now and I have some experiance about that but nothing about voyager.
Mean you say voyager is more better than espace in some points. I have some other questions.
If you compare 2.2 cdi espace engine with 2.5 crd voyager
How much deffirence for performance?
Which one is more confortable when driving? (When you gat slower than wants gat faster again etc.)
Which one is more safer when driving ( Brakes and others)
Thank you.

Hi the engine performance is about the same, but there is more room to work on the Chrysler engine with it still in the car, where as with the Renault you have to take the engine out for some simple bits, which cost more in the end.
