Default chrysler oils

today i went to the main dealer to get 4l of atf+4,they gave me a price over the phone .
when i arrived ,they said they coudnt get the 4l tankers and instead charged me full price for 4x1l bottles not happy at all.

and he told me that there is serious lack of oils, now that fiat own chrysler,he said all the oils are coming in different colours and containers supplied by petronas.

he also admitted to using miller oils additives,so i think next time i need to change my atf i will be using miller oils atf+4 as u can get 5l delivered in the uk for £35.00 instead of £50.00 at dealer for 4l of mopar.

so if u own a jeep or anything else,u will be getting petronas oil at the dealer.

Here in the states there are around thirty brands of ATF+4 fluid. Chrysler licenses other oil producers to make it as long as it is made to Chrysler spec. Here's the list:Licensed ATF+4® Brands

If you can find one of those you'll be ok. Many are chain stores here in the states and probably made by one or two producers. Others like Mobil, Castrol, etc may be available in the UK.
