Default sliding doors saftey and locks

My 2008 is at the dealership today, for the 4th time. the locks on the sliding door can not yet be repaired. I complained about the saftey feature. Researched it on the web and it seems like many people are experiencing the saftey problem where it takes far more pressure to stop the automatic door then it should in a vehicle that caters to families and children. I would have to throw my adult body infront of the door to cause it to stop sliding, my children would never be able to make it stop. My dealership said "it meets their standards" and are not willing to investigate any further. Chrysler said "they would make a note of it!" HELP!!! The dealership says that the schematic (sp?)does don't match our van. Can anyone offer any advise? Thanks so much.
