could be a fuel blockage maybe fuel filter ,worth a try also clean air filter . water in diesel .does it start ok in morning?
does it rev freely when standing still ? bad smoke from exhaust ? what colour is it ?

many thanks for response,
i have bled the fuel system, its just has full service 2 weeks ago,it starts fine ,revs fine, and got white smoke when first started,(about 5 seconds) then clears.
i must add it now STINKS of diesel when i drive it,( coming in though vents)and under the bonnet. i have today noted a leak underneath the front and its diesel
only a very slight leak.1 drip every 1/2 hour or so ( yes i did lay under it waiting!!!!)
any suggestions as to where this is coming from?
thanks again

white smoke combined with diesel smell could be excess
fuel problem
has fuel consumption gone up ? if so could be inj pump problem(which could explain fuel leak ,maybe a seal gone in pump ) or maybe worn
injectors .
white smoke can also mean head gasket problem , take off lid of
header tank when cold on fast tickover see if you have any
bubbles in water and/or combustion gas smells .
