Default Chrysler voyager 2.8 crd fuel pressure sensor in rail

hi Guys/Girls
I have an error code 0190 and I have been told its the in rail fuel pressure sensor. Can I buy one from a local motor spares shop or is it a Chrysler only part. Is it a hard part to change.

Thanks
Bee

it's worth testing it first. It has a 5V supply, a ground and a signal pin. With the ignition on you should read +5V on the light blue wire, 0.5V on the grey and 0V on the last one.

Also test for the same on the ECU plug. Pins 60, 13 and 16. This is to prove the wiring.

The sensor itself is a Bosch part as it's a Bosch injection system. Best bet is to get one from a Bosch service centre rather than a main dealer or motor factor

Regards
Richard

I once got a Rail Sensor for a Renault, it was £80 from Bosch and £145 from Renault.
