Default Clicking noise when turning.... :-(

Hi guys,

Our GV seems to have developed a problem...

When turning (mostly left) it makes a clicking noise from the steering column area... My wife says it certainly sounds like its within the car rather than the wheels, etc..

Anybody got any advice?

Steering column not drive shafts as per universal joint u/s.
Immediate answer would be steering fluid low.

Checked the P. Steering fluid today and the level was fine...

Hoping this is not something more serious, but will get it to the mechanic on MOnday..

As you rotate the steering wheel? I would be thinking a wire bundle or such is chaffing against the steering shaft. With the steering wheel held in a left turn? I would think right outboard cv joint.

Check the outer CV joint.
