::::::::::::::::::: IPM and sidelights. Have you had power to lights problems ? Have a look at the 'fuseholders' and underside of the fusebox. Have you / someone bodged a stolen power line from the lights / instruments ? Get tfb / someone to give you a read !

Root cause could be EGR not working right (now I know your EGR controle pipe is / was broken) !

P Code only tell you about an error not all ways what the real fault is.

P 165 is O2 sensor slow response & this could lead to EGR valve not working right. O2 sensor tell ECU what EGR is suppose to due and with a broken EGR control pipe you get an error in ECU. fix the pipe and reset ECU manny time the read out is an old stored error not valid anymore.

I all ways used DRB III scanner and it tell you if it's a active or stored error.

There is no 02 sensor on a diesel voyager.

The 1651 error code is a data transmission error between the ECU and instrument cluster

O2 sensors can last up to 100k, what many don't realise is that as they get older they still work, but work less efficiently and the reporting range of 1 to .9v in .5v increments become slower and slower and less and less accurate with the obvious fuel issues.

Mopar Oxygen Sensor 56028995AA

The difference between the RS/RG/RT VM Motori & the RS/RG Chrysler builds are here.

I am confused whats this RG model? Where is the sensor located? and could it explain my black smoke issue. I will get my son to sit in the boot and film while i boot it on a country road for you guys to see how bad it can be

nope, still say there is no o2 sensor on a UK diesel 2.5/2.8. Eur spec may be different though.

there is no listing in PAIS for one, no connector info, no wiring diagrams, no provision on ECU for a accepting a signal from one.

EGR is primarily mapped on engine speed and throttle position.
