I have a 2005 town and country. the check engine light put out the code's ~ p0404 and p0407
one is voltage signal from exhaust gas recirculation sensor "b" is to low for the current engine operations conditions.
the p0404 one said the pcm has determined that the control circuit for the exhaust gas recirculation system is out of range for the current engine operating conditions.?
does anyone know what i can try to get this engine light off??

Me again, i just took it to auto zone to double check that check engine light, it now came up with just one code, it is p0406. witch could be egr pressure sensor, egr position sensor, witch both of these the dealer said this vehichle does not come with those. so the other thing on the list was a EGR valve, witch the part stores can not even order this part, the dealer has it for almost a hundred dollars. is there a way i can check this to make sure that is what it is?

U can see if the egr is there or not under the hood look at the left hand side where the belts are. In teh front of the engine there will be a connector attached to a round cyl looking thing with a tube comming out of it thats your egr valve. If there is not one there then we have an issue if there is one there replace it with the one from the dealer becuase its only a dealer part.

I hate to tell u u will need to get it fixed b4 u get an state inspection. They know if codes have been cleard because the computer does tests and u need to have 75% of how ever many test your car has inorder for them to pass u so u would have wasted a 25$ trip and they would have told u u will need to drive around for about a week inorder for atleast 75% of the tests to run and for u to pass plus not have a check engine light on. This is what u do Replace the EGR dont clear the clear teh codes drive it around for a week if the lights goes out u know it fixed. The computet will recheck what failed and when it passes 3 times it will turn out the light..
