Default Cold radio volume

Just moved from Florida to Michigan and apparently the radio does not like the cold. On initial startup the radio display comes on and the volume bar shows that it is working but I get no sound from anything until the interior temperature gets above about 55-60 and the n suddenly the sound comes on. Anyone else had this issue and corrected it? It works fine from spring until late fall, but once the temperatures drop into the 30-40's it starts again.

Hi dmpbe5,

We certainly regret to hear this! What is the model year and current mileage of your vehicle? Please feel free to follow up via private message if you'd like to discuss this further! We're happy to see how we can assist.
