Default Coolant Leak from interior Heater is it.

Found a pool of coolant in a metal tray/part of floor metalwork. Seams to be coming from under centre console. Topped up coolant about a fortnight ago and doesn't seem to be going down. Better get Radweld just in case. Anyone had this. See pic of paper towel in recess..

Are you sure it's coolant and not just water? Make sure the condensate drain is clear. This time of year it's easy to get leaves and other debris in there and get a blockage.

Is it coolant come to think of it, it's blue with a sweet taste. I had it dried out till today. Then it reappeared while I was working on the rear window washer problem today, where there's no water spraying onto rear glass. Found one way valve on hose under flooring near offside pillar clear but little water trickling out. Leak traced to below gear shift unit which is bolted to floor with securing nuts underneath.
Next job is to scurry below, remove 4 nuts and ease up gear shift unit to view split.
Better get an inline plastic connector for these small bore hoses. Anyone offhand know the bore of these hoses.

Usually 5mm ID x 8mm ED for the PVC clear, what exactly Chrysler use I've no idea. You can buy plaggie 5mm ID Hose Hose Connectors that need no fixings.

Yes your near enough QinteQ. I measured the check valve under carpet at back door and the shaft of it not the bell end measures 4.80mm which is actually 3/16" funny enough. American size methinks.
So anyway per chrysler parts got from the part no on a hose, 04894080AA at rear, the rear check valve is down as 3/16 (04334799), snap here.
And hose at rear door, 04894080AA, gives size, 8.7mm O/D & 4.3mm I/D..
So end senario for inline plastic fitting should be 5mm to make sure it doesn't come off easy.
God its a Saturday night guys and I'm whinging on about silly we plastic parts but why does it have to take so long to sort out...Well I know now, you know now, thats what this forum is for...
Here, whose round is it now my glass is empty...hic.

Ta goggsy, if push comes to shove on the internal diameter connector a skinny instrument tie will do to clamp it - usually though the reverse teeth on the connector stop it pulling back. Anyone near you flying model aircraft or even your local garage or scrappy should have suitable hose because they are all the same[ish] sizes standard. Best of luck.

I'm thinking of a place with an Autobar car parts stand. The Range surprisingly.
