Default Coolant leak and heater blowing cold air!! HELP, it's -10 degrees outside!

Bought a 2006 Pacifica in April of 2012, recently I have smelled antifreeze, the fluid was checked and was ok. Then checked again, it was low, so put antifreeze into it, then when driving it after putting antifreeze in, the heater quit working and started blowing out cold air! The antifreeze is not low now, but still blowing cold air. Temp gauge was ok most of the time but did go up one time, then back down. I do have a dealer powertrain warrenty, but I'm not sure if it will cover an issue like this. Is there anything that would perhaps be a recall?

power train will not cover coolant leaks unless the engine itself is leaking U have low coolant pressure test the system see where the leak is.
