Cranks but won't start
So i have 1997. Chrysler Grand Voyager it was all running until i took out engine. When i put the engine back in it now cranks but wont start. we started to seek problem and found out it was that fuel pump doesnt send out further fuel. Any ideas what could cause that?

Are you meaning that the fuel pump, high pressure one that is, is not putting out enough pressure for engine to start.
Being a 1997 variant diesel, still VM though, but possibly mechanical injection. Has your's got separate cylinder heads ?

How does the ECU stop ignition, since this is a diesel?
Doesn't it just control the injection pump?
I had injection pump recently rebuilt..., (this one is electronically controlled).
Where is the ECU located?
Also noticed that hose from intake to turbo had major rupture.
What is the sensor attached doing? is it an air mass flow meter?
Removed the hose.
'Fingered' turbo and it rotates - just guessing if part of the hose is obstructing some valve.
Where to start? testing injectors?
Cranks normally with normal sound, but no start,,,
Thank you for your help...

Now checking TIPM/injection control...
Aware this is a major issue with later models.
