I took out the windscreen wiper assembly every time I've removed injectors. It's surprisingly simple, from memory I'm thinking 4 bolts onto the bulkhead (13 or 15mm possibly)and 4 at the front of the panel (around 10mm).

Just need to remove the wipers and the top panel first (4 torx screws i think)

Then if you disconnect the washer hoses and lift clear.

For one of them (Left hand side of engine looking from front of car towards windscreen), theres some pipework needs to be moved to the side as well.

I've removed them from about 5 cars now and this one was always the hardest to come out (possibly number 4?). Unfortunately I've never took the top off an injector so have no idea how to go about it.

Mines is a 2002 CRD 2.5.

Hi Rab.

I have taken the wipers etc off but can't see how to get the steel panel out. Few photos attached.
