I have an engine knock on my 2005my 2.4 liter Voyager. It is there from cold and is still apparent when hot, but less prominent. It is not the bottom end but either around the head area or piston gudgeon pin area.
I have changed the oil and problem still is apparent. It is prominent with vehicle in neutral and the engine is revved.
Is there a common issue with this engine that would explain the knocking. It is certainly embarrasing when engine is cold.
I would appreciate any feedback from enthusiasts.
