Default Engine oil type

What engine oil type is recommended for a 2013 T&C with 3.6L - conventional, semi-synthetic, full synthetic?
The owners manual specifies 5w-20 oil meeting the requirements of MS-6395.

conventional if its synthetic it would say so. Currently the only engine I know that is factory filled with mobile one is the SRT 6.1 hemi.

Thank you for the reply.

Is there any reason not to use 5w-20 semi-synthetic?
I still change oil every 3,000 miles regardless of the type of oil - conventional or semi-synthetic.

Oil gasoline and batteries are in this same boat. Only a few companies refine oil refine raw oil and make batteries. You have a vast number of people that sell the oil to you gas stations around every corner and batteries of every brand u can think of. What im getting at is it really wont matter who u use or what they say it has in it it still pretty much the same stuff everyone else gets because it all comes from the same source of who refines it.

Full synthetic is always going to be the best choice. That's not to say other types won't do the job. Semi-synthetic was and is a ploy by companies to offer a cheaper alternative to full synthetic that offers some full synthetic goodies. What did your dealership say?

The dealership really did not say what to use other that they are using conventional for the first couple oil changes then switching to synthetic so customers do not have to change oil very often.
I still change oil every 3 months/3,000 miles even is I am running semi-synthetic. I have never ran full synthetic in my vehicles.
I do use WIX filters which seem to be high quality from what I read.

What is a high quality conventional 5w-20 oil?

Using semi is like using mid-grade gas IMO
