helloi have 1999 gv le 2.5 mnaual.just bought car,but when i put it in first gear,i really have to push it in..rest of gears are fine,no crunching or grinding,but the actual gear stick seems to have a lot of play in it ,regardless of what gear it is in ,so when you put it in first,then let go,the stick will move an inch or so back toward the middle,and so on thru out the gears.......any ideas please ? xx

 

Short of anyone having this problem before, your going to have to check out the linkage yourself.
