Grand Voyager won't start anymore
Hi back again. After weeks without any problem, the problems started this afternoon, when the brake lights started to burn without my handbrake on and the radio didn't work. So I decided to go home, stopped the engine and tried to start again, only clicking and dashboard lights where out with the contact on. After that a lot of noise comming from the new starting motor (with the contact OFF), because it didn't stop I took of the - cable of the battery, with that I burned my hand,,because the - cable and the + cable where very hot. Is this problem coming from a bad battery. or an other problem?
I still think its bad battery or resistance in the + cable. Eliminate the battery is easy and cost free if you borrow a known good. Cable resistance - do this after eliminating battery, if your battery is in the boot on a long cable you are going to have high[er] loss & high resistance to 'high current devices' like starters unless its an oversized cable and good or better connection quality.
