Default Handbrake Adjustment?

[align=left]Can you tell me if it is possible to adjust the handbrake on a year 2000 Grand Voyager 3.3 lx?
The handbrake lever inside the car seems to have excessive travel and doesn't seem to lock the wheels that good either, I would be very grateful for your response

You can't adjust them because it's got discs and pads on the rear, I didn't know if there was a seperate adjuster anywhere for the handbrake or is it a case of just changing the rear pads and hoping for the best????

Can anyone help me???

I have the same problem with the handbrake not holding. How do you adjust the rear brakes ie the inner handbrake pads? Can you give a detailed description?

not really this is just something that tech knows its basic brake. There is a star wheel that will adj it in and out and make it just tight enough to spin the wheel free.

Thanks, I know it's basic brakes and I had assumed it would be some sort of star adjuster as on other vehicles I have maintained in the past, but I can't seem to be able to see where it is. Does something have to be removed to get to it? Please can you tell me where the adjuster is and how to get to it?
