Default Help with 1996 Town and Country

Hello everyone!
I'm not very mechanically inclined. This 96 Town and Country is my first vehicle. I love it but now, I am having issues with it.

I don't know technical terms, so I am going to just state the issues.

No start. I turn the key, no noise..no clicking no beeping...nothing
no dash lights
I got myself a battery charger. I hooked it up for a few hours. I tried again but still nothing.
I am now completely clueless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do the dash lights come on when the battery charger is connected and charging? If so it sounds like you need a new battery.

Do you have a multi meter. If so check the voltage at the battery. Should read about 12 volts. If you don't have one, the go and buy one. You can pick a cheap one up for about £5. If you have voltage check out the connections on the battery, and if dirty clean them. If still no good, check he connections to the starter solenoid and the black earth connector.
