Default Help

Hi Guys
I've been having some trouble with my 2.8TDi GV. It will not start in the morning unless I clean the Boost pressure/Air pressure sensor it's been cutting out. it looks like it's sooty. I clean it with contact cleaner and it's good for a while until it soot's back up. If I look at the codes it reads a P0190 and P1130. I've put a new air filter on and a new Boost pressure/Air pressure sensor.
Any Ideas.

the P0190 is flagged when the ECU doesn't see the 0.5V signal back from the fuel rail pressure sensor when the ignition is turned on and before the engine is started.

The fuel rail pressure sensor is supplied with 5V, this is a separate 5v supply to the a&b sensor reference voltages.

Check the fuel rail pressure sensor and then ECU pins for the 5V supply, ground and signal level (0.5V with key on, engine off)

not sure how the temp/boost sensor fits into this but with the 0190 the car definitely wont start

Regards
Richard

ECU is in front of the battery, behind a stainless steel cover
