Default Help with part number please

Hi I am looking for the part number for a fuel pressure regulator on my 04-07 2.8crd. The bosch number I have is 0928400738 but apparently this is not the correct part according to someone I spoke to online however bosch uk believe it is correct? I'm confused. Any help appreciated.

Regards dan

There's a Fuel Rail Valve on the fuel rail and a Flow Control valve on the pump and for a 2004 2.5CRD their 5083 711AA and 5083 671AA. So wouldn't have thought the 2.8CRD would be much different.

I've seen several part numbers used on 2.8 and 2.5's . The bosch part numbers are 0 928 400 and then the last 3 digits vary. But not even the Bosch Esi-Tronic software can tell me what the differences are.

however, you can pick up a complete pump and FCA cheaply eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrysler-G...item46286162ea

2.5 and 2.8 are the same

Regards
richard

To add to tfb, if you can get part no's off a Bosch part go to a Bosch retailer and it'll be about half price compared to Chrysler.

Well I got the old unit off and after a good clean could roughly make out the last three of the usual bosch code being 584. Looked this up and apparently it has been superceded by 0928400568. Had a phone around to various bosch suppliers and bosch uk main and neither can confirm nor deny wether the latter will be compatible for my vehicle. Very frustrating as it will be an expensive mistake purchasing the wrong part.
I read on a website that 0928400568 is compatible with 0928400660? Thoughts?
