Default How to Turn autolock OFF!

Hi all,
I'm a newbie here. Looking for help on how to program the doors so they don't autolock!
I have followed the instructions to to turn Autolock OFF, but it still locks the doors at about 20 km/h.
My instructions (from another forum, and as printed in an owner's manual!) say to turn the ignition on and off 4 times, ending in the off position, then hit the driver's door lock switch. And then I am supposed to hear a chime... BUT I never hear the chime, and the doors still autolock, infuriating my poor wife every time she has to get the baby out of the back seats. She has to remember to hit the unlock button to be able to open the back doors and tailgate.

Is there another way? Like using a DRB3 tool or something?

Hoping someone out there can help,

Andrew

Thanks, I appreciate your reply. I would still like to fix it myself if at all possible. Do you know why the key on/off procedure would not be working? Is there anything else I should be checking - fuses or something maybe? (Although everything else seems fine with the car)

Thanks,
Andrew
