intermittant cutting out 2.5d 1998 voyager
as title says doesnt cut dead feels like fuel line is pinched reducing fuel and the glow plug light flashes but will then start up straight away ,have changed the fule filter, removed and cleaned the tank
i had it plugged in last night and no stored faults
i swapped the diesel pcm relay with the heater plug relay and today it hasnt done it
although it doesnt do it every day can go days even weeks without doing it

the tank isnt the problem it has done it again twice today infact, took the flywheel sensor out and cleaned it on wednesday
could the flywheel sensor be faulty as my brother has a vectra and its doing a similar thing and has been told it is the flywheel sensor
have just got a price from chrysler of £60 inc vat which isnt as bad as i expected
then only other thing i have thought of is the stop solenoid
when i first got the car it done it and i put a new solenoid on and this seemed to stop it doing it for about a year then when it done it again i took it out cleaned it and then was ok for a while ,i find it hard to believe that this could need replacing after 2 years
i have taken it out this time and it hasnt made any difference

I think you are probably on target with the CPS. Check the ECU for a fault
switch the car off, hold down the trip and reset buttons together switch on and keep the two buttons in for at least 5 secs. Then release and press the trip button once. If it says 55 then there are no stored codes, otherwise it will tell you what codes are stored.

Hmmm....no it sounds like you have run the instrument cluster test. 999 is the end of codes for that test. If your instrument nedles started doing something funny when you ran the test then you definitley ran the wrong one. You should only be getting a 2 digit code.
Problem with these cars is that before 2004 diesels were not required to be OBD-II compliant so either you have access to the Chrysler tool or you have to read the codes from the cluster. Newer diesel Chryslers support the
off on --off on --off on
Procedure.
But yours should be the same as mine which is a 1999 model.

Dude I realised where the issue lies. In order to get the ECU code you must hold both buttons in and ONLY turn the key to where the trip lights come on NOT the main ignition lights. Do as before hold them in for 5 secs realese and then press te trip button and you will get the ECU code.

1999 voyager cutting out
my diesal voyager cuts out whilst driving normally when slowing down not when travelling, i have no fault codes so im assuming its not the crank sensor, going to change the fuel filter to see if that helps..any ideas on what could i could focus on?
