Lound "spratic" rumbling sound/rear under area behind rear seat.
I have a 07 Town and Country Touring 3.8L. What is happening is I hear a loud rumble coming from what I believe is the right rear behind the sliding door and beneath the floor behind the door (seems like the right side). It is an occasional noise that can occur when totally stopped or if I am driving so I know it isn't anything to do with the suspension, wheel bearings or brakes. The noise is a loud rumbling sound and the rumbling is very quick, lasts for maybe 3 to 5 seconds then stops. The only mechanical systems back there that I believe may cause this is something in the fuel system (not sure about the charcoal cannister or if there is a valve back there for the vapor emissions). It does not sound like it is the fuel pump as the pump is working fine and there is no interruption of fuel to the engine. Any help would be appreciated.
