Default Master Cylinder Question

Hi, I have a 93 town and country and I'm faced with a bit of a dilemma. The master cylinder is starting to fail. In the process of shopping around for a new one, I have discovered that this part is priced at anywhere from 1250 at the dealer to 850 at my local parts shop. I wanted to know if there is a way to rebuild this thing, or circumvent the ABS with a non-ABS unit so that I can sell the vehicle. If not, it's heading off to the junkyard since it really isnt worth the money especially with the price of gas and it's poor gas mileage. It really would pain me to do this since otherwise it is in very good condition. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sean

Default RE: Master Cylinder Question

You can replace the braking system with a non-ABS if you are mechanically inclined. Others have done it. Is it worth it? That is up to you.
