Default Minor coolant loss/intermittent coolant smell inside car

2002 t&c 3.8. New radiator and cap and t-stat. Doesn't overheat and I don't see any leaks but now and then I get a coolant smell inside car (up to temp and heat and a/c off) and windows fog up slightly. Coolant loss is about 2 cups over a 2 week period. Oil shows no sign of water. No sign of leakage on water pump. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for any help!!

I don't know if it works on heater cores but I have had 100% success in using Radweld or similar on engine, radiator and pipework leaks. Might be a quick cure or temporary sollution at this time of year.

I will definitely look into that. If it is the heater core, from what I hear and see, it is a bear to get out!

I don't suppose there is a way to test that first?

Best to pressure test it when coolant is cold because when coolant heats up the metal expands and stops the leak..was a problem with big hulking mainline diesel engine cooler groups back then when the coolant ran out when engine shut down for even a day.
