Modius Dash Cam.
Ok here it is. Offloaded Mobius into my desk computer and things seem to have changed for the better.
Laptop has a problem that needs looked into. Something about error in Amd vid/picture running came up at one point.
But its snapshot pictures that's being shown about every 100yds along the road, as the seconds turn over on the screen. Any ideas to this, probably to do with setup in Mobius.
Its coming out on Real Player ok.

If so then you've got something wrong in the Mobius settings.
Check the Misc Settings tab to make sure you still haven't got Motion Detect selected.
Also check the Mode 1 tab to make sure you've got Video Frame Rate set to 25 fps and Time-lapse Video set to Off.
Desk computer seem to be operating Mobius ok Alan. I'm on the laptop typing this at mo and now I can't get into Setup to check on the settings on the Mobius. So looks like its Desk computer only for the Mobius. Just got to install setup on the desk computer but its in a cold room...
Have you not finished installing that wood burner yet
Good news about the Mobius, I knew you'd get there in the end. Let me know if you need anymore help with it. I'm going to order another one this month to mount in the back of my GV. I already have a cheap 720p camera in the back but it keeps failing.

Our old Multi fuel Charnwood boiler fire now installed and heating two radiators at moment. None in bedrooms as yet. We're in a hollow walled 4x2 framed wooden house so heat just disappears. But getting there.
As too Mobius, learning about setup innards and what they do as I go along.
Thanks.

And when it was really cold he'd put one of his army overcoats on top of the bed. Blimey them things were heavy
Yes we get ice on inside of windows, only bedroom ones now. Two Radiators still to fit in them. House is 1940's, wooden, made from 4x2 frames, hollow walls open at bottom to under floor air. Burning logs bought from forestry only a mile away. £22 a ton.
Good thing I'm full DIY oriented, joiner, builder, electrician, lumberjack...and car repairs....Brrr its cold outside.

Right as too snapshot pictures coming out of Mobius the only thing I can find in the setup is Video Frame Rate was 30 instead of 25. So will that cause it.
This desktop computer I'm on here is like watching paint dry, its memory must be full of junk.

Does the camera start recording when you connect power to it in the car, or do you have to press one of the buttons to get it to record anything?
Note: It won't start recording when you connect it to a computer, even though the USB is supplying 5v to the camera.
Edit: Are you sure you've set Time-lapse Video set to Off on the Mode 1 page. (You should check the settings on the Mode 2 page as well, just in case)

Camera records right away.
Checked time lapse was off. But I'll check again.
Pictures certainly are very clear. Got camera on top of dash but I can see reason for attaching it near top of screen.
