It was done where you bought it. It has always been in the area and was never a rental.....which is a good thing.
I can't really speculate what it causing the dying. I know of a few things it could be. WIN module being one, could be a key transponder dying (BTW, it's always a good idea to have a spare fob at home) or even a BUS wire touching at times. They're so full of electronics now that something completely out in left field could be causing your problem. The can tool data will tell the tale hopefuly If a good tech gets hold of it, it should be pretty painless. However, I can't vouch for the general caliber of Chrysler techs they have in Canada.
