230! Granted, this was for a synthetic oil change. However, the oil change place hit me (again) with auto transmission fluid and power steering fluid change rec. So, I went for it. This is for a 2005 Chrysler T&C. I have about 77,000 miles and haven't done these changes since I bought it new in '05.
In general, is this kind of stuff necessary on this kind of vehicle? Also, how hard would it be to do it myself? How do I know if "Havoline" didall the necessary and correct work for these services? I heard there was some sort of filter for the transmission fluid, but all I see on the invoice is transmission and power steering service/flush/replace.They said they had some sort of pump for the power steering, etc. I don't have that, but I do have a pretty good toolset, jack, etc. I've got another car (2000 SAAB 9-3) that has about 60,000 on it. So, I also want to know what I need to do on it at this time regarding the transmission and power steering fluids. It has a manual transmission. Thanks for any help!

a tranny flush and filter change are different the filter change only changes out about 5qts of fluid and the flush changes it all out like 12 qts. Done every 70k the PS depends if they did it right about 2qts of fluid.
