Default Positive Temperature Coefficient

is it true these can't be replaced on the junction block? It looks like a simple solder job. I took my Junction box apart and someone circled the two #1 PTC solders and two on the flasher relay.

The two at the #1 PTC look a little shady. I don't want to buy a new JB unless I have to. Can it be replaced with a junkyard one or is it like every other part that needs to be coded to the vehicle?

tia for any advice
