Power Door Problem on 2002 Voyager
My voyager seems to have a intermittent problem on one of the power sliding doors, the left one is perfect but the right door.............
Only throws the door out a bit (Unlocks it) but once you open it manually it will open a close many times, but if it is left overnight the problem returns.
I have tried spraying WD40 in the latch which seems to get it working but the next day the problem returns.
I have noticed that the colder it gets the worse the problem is.
Could removing and cleaning the latch work ?, it did seem pretty gummed up when I used WD40 on it.
Thanks

In the lower door track there is a wiring harness caged in plastic. There is a ground wire inside them that can break (but not completely many times) depending what psoition the door is in it will make or break contact. This causes an open circuit to the door module. I've replaced a TON of these. The most common symptom is the door opens about 4-6 inches and stops. You CAN repair it but it will likely not last very long and will just break somewhere else. It's due to age. Last I checked the dealer cost is about 150 bucks.
