our passenger side door has been acting up for 2 years now... sometimes wont open or close electronically at all.. then works fine, then wont work... then works fine again...often, when its acting up, it wont even open manually from inside... have to let passenger out from outside,, noticed elect. lock had stopped working so i installed new actuator today... lock works fine now but no power to open or close from door button, console overhead or keyfob..... opened half way few times, then stopped... now nothing but a humm in the motor.. where should i go next and thanks alot

Fixed!!! thanks to you guys in some older forums mentioning broken wires in the plastic chain... that was it... had to remove entire chain and look closely at each wire for one that was broken ( not all way thru tho ) in 2 places.. happened to be the biggest wire as i believe there are 6 or 7 in there... the lock actuator also had to be changed tho as door would not lock/unlock with key fob or button... thanks again guys... great forum that has helped so many of us
