Power Sliding door maintence and Power seat issue
Hi Guys just bought a 2012 TC one of the power doors is a little noisy. Sounds like the top bushing/roller. Whats a good grease for this????
Also the power seat stopped working, I am taking it back to the dealer for the fix as its covered but is this something to look out for in the future??
Thanks

Hi Mikey,
Welcome to the GV club, you've got one of the newer models there so hopefully you'll enjoy!
The rear power doors, a general/light grease should be fine on the rollers for that, just make sure you wipe excess off so it doesn't gather and drop onto the bodywork at some point. They are a little noisy since they're always exposed to the elements.
Hopefully you've had the seat sorted by now, do you mind posting back what they did (If they told you?). I'm going to guess something simple like a faulty connector under the seat that supplies it with power. It's no more a common issue than most electrical faults, anything that moves and has cables or connectors will fail over time.
As always, please do post back when you get a solution or progress for others to see and know how you solved it.
