my passenger rear vent window has stopped working,i check the motor and it works k from the battery,the plug i get 12v 1 way but nothing other way,so switch or controll box at fault?

also theres a bracket that the bottom bolt goes threw on motor,and that goes into tailgate mounting,theres a little peice of metal that bolts on and goes round the side of the power tailgate mechanism,im sure when i first took side panel of there was a little orange wire in it??? or does that push against the sliding mechanism?
