Default Rear washer not working on 1996

I have a 96 T& C and the rear washer quit working. I see that there are two pumps on the reservoir. How do I know which to change and how do I change the bad washer pump?

Frustrated,

Bob

I had a '96 once with the same problem. Crawl under the pass. fender and touch the pumps while someone is pushing the front washer so you'll know which is which. To replace the pump make sure the reservoir is empty first, because once you remove the pump, it'll pour out. Or roll up your sleeve and put a pan under the pump area. Make sure you have the new pump on hand. The old pump just pulls out of a rubber friction fit grommet. Twist while pulling. Disconnect the plug. That's it. Reverse the procedure to install. Hopefully it works. If not check your body control module. I had a shorted diode in mine once and the pump wouldn't shut off. I had to unplug it.

Thanks for the reply. I bought a new pump and put it in. I thought I had all the fluid out of the reservoir but I didnt , got quite a bat but at least it works. Thanks for the advice.
