Default Sat Nav retro fit on 2004 T&C

I pick my 2004 T&C Limited up this afternoon and the only option she wasn't spec'd with at the factory was satellite navigation.

I'm looking to retro fit a double din head unit system or an orginal Chrysler unit but these seem to be way over priced on the second hand market.

Firstly has anyone ever fitted one???

Could someone recommend any after market systems???

Given the limited functionality of the RB3 system I have in my '04 Grand Voyager (UK version of a T&C), I would say, save your money and get a TomTom, or a Garmin or some other "portable" device and a window sucker mount. You can run the power cable hidden behind the fascia to either of the 12v points by the CD tray quite easily and also have the bonus of taking the unit out if you want to use it in another vehicle.... only my opinion though.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Cheers

Graham
