Seat belt caught in power sliding door.

Seat belt caught in power sliding door.
I'm new to this thread and have a question that maybe someone can help me with. I Have a 2002 T&C with a driver side power sliding door issue. The seat belt is stuck in the door. Do I need to disable the power and open the door manually to remove the belt?? I an unable to open the door currently.
