Default Speedo problems, please help.

Hi I hope some one can help
I have just brought a 2003 Chrysler Grand Voyager Limited 3.3 V6 automatic, and I have one problem, my speedo is 10 mph out, when my speedo is showing 20mph I am really doing 30mph.
I have done a dial reset and fault code find and nothing no codes, could it be the out put speed sensor in my gearbox?
Thanks
Jason

Have the wheel and/or tyre sizes been changed at all?

There is a very recent post on this very subject of a wrong speedo reading, possibly caused by over-size tyres. The discussion was about whether there was a program change in the micro. to accomm. different sized wheels/tyres as with wagons.

It's possible though that the previous owner had larger wheels and/or tires and had the speedo recalibrated then simply switched back to the correct size wheel/tire prior to selling? That would be my guess.

About 20MPH is about 30 KPH [32.1869] set your readout to show miles not kilometres.
