Steering wheel controls not working
2014 Town and Country.
No horn, No volume up/down, No source..... Cruise Control button works but nothing else. Air Bag is functioning fine with no errors.
No errors in the BCM/PCM at the moment, in the scan tool, the "SCM" Steering Wheel Control Module is not listed as an available module that can be accessed. The other modules are. I've accessed this module and seen it listed on my scan tool on other chrysler vehicles, I'm assuming that this vehicle doesn't have an intelligent module that can be accessed.
After reading some threads, I replaced the clockspring, checked the wiring behind the wheel for any damage, traced the wiring to the main harness, no signs of damage or breaks. After replacing the clockspring, the same controls are still not working. I do now see an error U110A from the cluster module "Can't communicate with the steering wheel control module"
The schematic tells me the module is located under the dash on the left, the only module under there is the telematic for hands free phone, no other module.
On this year, is the clock spring also known as the "Steering Wheel Control Module"
I'm thinking the clock spring I have may be defective but wanted to ask first. Is there a steering wheel control module on this year? Where is it located? Does anyone have a picture?
Many people have complained of this same issue on the T&C and usually end up replacing the clock spring, has anyone found any other issues?
Appreciate any feedback.
