I own 2013 Chrysler Town and Country Touring - no heated steering wheel.

Is it possible to upgrade my steering wheel to heated steering wheel by replacing it?

What modifications are required? - i noticed there is empty spot for switch on my control dasboard...

What parts do i need?

- heated steering wheel (?)
- switch
- ?

that is possible. Installation takes about 5 hours. I've installed this summer in a Town & Country Touring MY12.

I've mostly used parts from ebay and bought the rest at Mopar.

- Steering wheel 1YH45DX9AA
- Harness in the steering wheel 68148758AD
- Modul HSM (Seat heating front, rear, steering wheel) 5026632AL
- Modul HVAC (Air Conditioning) 55111235AF
- Modul SCM (Contact Spring) 56046394AE

The electrical wiring diagram can be found on TechAuthority.com

Programming was not necessary.

That new steering wheel you got looks exactly the same like genuine one you had before? Same quality?

What about on/off switch on dashboard and steering wheel?

What was the total cost (more or less) of those parts you ordered?

 

on/off Switch is in the Modul HVAC. This Modul is the complete climate control unit.
