Default Strange problem with side window motor

See if you can pull the window up with your hands while operating the switch. If so then it's probably the guides/runners that need lubricating.

most likely flat spot on motor armature... makes no difference what year... hold switch down while closing door firmly and see if it then closes and opens... if it works again, after closing window, bump switch ever so slightly to re-position the seating of the motor.. might have to do again ever so often.. i have seen this happen on numerous vehicles of this age and sometimes the motors will go for years like that.... just occasionally hanging up from moisture burning a small spot at the contact....my personal van does it only on passenger side... it is an 06 and started acting up 3 years ago.. try it and let us know

thanks for you answers, if i close pressing switch and forcing with hands it closes, if i bump no difference, if i remove motor from the window same problem, if i use 12V power supply works great, i had read voltage in plug to motor 11.9V i go to my power supply and configure it for 11.9V i can see amperage used is 0.9A both closing and opening motor, if it was different them i would know that motor is forcing in one way to close but no, its the same amperage.
if with 12V power supply there was a problem, i would buy a new motor but it works perfect.

Default window help

I have a different problem, I'm buying my 06 T & C from my parents so I know it has been taken care of (mostly) and they told me that at first the drivers side window would work and the passenger side wouldn't work then suddenly it reverses so the drivers side doesn't work and the passenger side does. I tried putting in a new master switch but it didn't change anything. I don't know what to do since I can't afford to have it checked by a mechanic and my wife has had to take it for work so I haven't had the chance to take the panel off and check to make sure voltage is getting through. Any suggestions?
