T&C plug wireing order

T&C plug wireing order
I have a chech engine light code that says #3 is missing. I go to look to see if I can pull the plug to check the condition.
I find plug wires on the front - left to right 2-4-6, but when I follow the wires on the back, the #3, center wire on the distributor, goes to the plug on the far left, what I thought should be #1, as in the front 2-4-6, I figured the back would be 1-3-5.
the dealer changed the plug wires a year or so ago, but, What's up with the plug wireing order?
