Question Technician Question about Travel Restrictor

Hi, I replaced both inner and outer tie rod ends on my 2005 T&C. When I was done I found the little plastic travel restrictor from the passenger side inner tie rod...it fell off when I was installing that side.

I checked the tire/wheel and even at full lock it does not rub. Is there any other reason that the restrictor has to be installed?? It would be a big pain to have to redo that side.

Thanks, Tim

Yes, with the teeth inside. Slips on the threaded end of the inner tie rod.

Thanks, TT
