Default Temp Controls

Sorry if this has already been covered, but, the registration process took me 30 minutes, so my search ability was stretched thin.

I have a 2004 base model T&C, lately the temperature sliders have been acting strange. The biggest issue is that they need to be slid back and forth to get them to work properly. Do I need to replace the entire heat/cool rig or is there an easier way?

Thanks, James.

Strange meaning the temp sliders need to be "worked" back and forth from hot to cold and back to hot a few times in order for the heat to work. And most times you can only achieve one side, ie: passenger or driver.

I figure its an electrical contact situation, but wanted to ask the experts before proceeding.

Thanks, james.
