Default UK Grand Voyager Power Door Fail

Hi guys I have a 06 Grand Voyager & the power door on the passenger side unlocks off the switch or the fob but doesn't not go back unless you push it 3 -4 inches press the fob or the switch again it will power back then. And the same if you try to close the door.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks Bee

9 times out of 10 its the earth on the plastic 'chain' that needs repair. Bit of a doddle - most times its an obvious break at the ~point~ at which the cable bends and un-bends as thedoor opens and closes.

Our friends over the water call it a minivan / or / town & country / or / caravan

Thanks for the info. The next dry day I'll give it a go.
