Unknow sensor above

Default Unknow sensor above

Hi can anyone help

I have a sensor that needes replacing I have
contacted my local dealer over the phone but
that where unable to help , it is a sensor that branches
off from the air intake after the airflow meter and connect
to p 2inch air pipe to the top of the engin the sensor
has a 2 wire conector to it , I have a 2.8 crd 2004

i do have a pic of it but donor know how to put it
on hear.

Sounds like something to do with EGR system (exhaust gas recirculation) but t'm not sure.

I'll try to look at mine when I get a chance.

Hi booke23 thanks for your reply, I have
just found out that it is the crankcase breather heater
so I rang the main dealers up but they won't
£130+vat (wow I did not think it was made out of
gold) just got to find one cheaper .
Wish me luck
