Default Vibration and Shimmy on Grand Voyager 3.3 auto.

My Chrysler Grand Voyagerbought 2000, has developed a vibration and Shimmy (Wheel Wobble) when accelerating uphill or on the flat but only when going around a right hand bend or turn and is worst when fully loaded. Whenengine is idling it is quiet but when I engage Drive it make a lownoise like Wha Wha Wha.
The shimmy was occasionally noticeable for last couple of years, but as it was occasionalI put it down the different road surfaces, but has got worse and has combined with the vibration since towing my caravan for 7,000 K's. I can't help feeling that it was the towing and reversing the caravan on full lock onto awkward caravan sites.
My garage (not Chryslerdealer) think it may be transmission, but my Haynes Manual indicates that vibration and shimmy may be CV Joints. The garage say they can seenothing obvious but they can't get any info from the Chrysler Dealers. Can anyone give an indicator to problem, or has anyone had similar experience ? Regards. Pom.

Your front axles need to be replaced.

Thanks very much Bernard, armed with that I'll go back to the garage and get them to try again.
All the best.

What info is there to get? They should be able to diagnose that without anyone's outside help. Use another shop in the future. This is auto mechanics fundamentals 101 type stuff here. Front wheel drive vehicles have been out for 20+ years. They should know what's going on here.
