Default Whinning Noise After Running Long Time

We have a 2005 T&C and it just started a month ago of making a whinning noise after taking a long trip or running over an hour. It seems to be coming from the right side of the engine. I had the water pump replaced a few months ago. There are no codes and the engine runs fine and is not getting hot. The whinning noise seems to get worst with higher rpms but you can mostly hear it when moving slow or stopped. I guess I need to get it checked.

Is there a write up anywhere that shows you how to change the PS fluid?

Thanks.

not really most places use machines to suck it out and add new in.

Easiest way is to grab the wife's turkey baster, suck the fluid out of the reservoir and refill, drive it around a bit, repeat two three times. On second thought buy your own baster. Life will be easier.

Raptor is correct... this has worked many times for me and without a doubt, the first thing you should do... your description of noise is usually this scenario... most often occurring after operating temp is reached and outside air is cool...but not always... good luck
